Overview

Two expert faculty members will lead you through the learning objectives using an interactive case study approach alongside webinar videos.

This course is intended for Healthcare Professionals practicing in Nephrology and treating Chronic Kidney Disease.

The course features interactive questions which will not contribute towards accreditation, however, there are 10 questions post-activity, and these will require a pass mark of 70% or higher to collect credit.

Objectives

Following this course you will be able to:

  • Describe the epidemiology and clinical burden of CKD-aP, including its impact on morbidity, QoL, and healthcare utilisation.
  • Explain the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms of CKD-aP and dispel common misconceptions that may hinder timely diagnosis or effective management.
  • Critically appraise current and emerging treatment strategies for CKD-aP, including their evidence base, clinical indications, and limitations.
  • Apply routine screening practices and implement patient-centred care approaches to improve the recognition and management of CKD-aP in diverse healthcare settings.
