Ludovic Vallier leads a pioneering group within the BIH Centre for Regenerative Therapies, Berlin, Germany, focusing on the development of clinically relevant liver cell types using human pluripotent stem cells. His work spans disease modelling, drug discovery, and cell-based therapies for liver disorders. Beyond academia, he is the founder of the biotechnology companies DefiniGEN, Cambridge, UK, and BiliTech, Hitchin, UK, which are dedicated to advancing stem cell-derived liver models and cell therapies.
