Vernon sondak

Vernon Sondak is Chair of the Department of Cutaneous Oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida, USA. He has helped develop one of the world’s largest multidisciplinary treatment centres for paediatric melanoma and related conditions. He is internationally recognised for his leadership in the surgical management of melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies, particularly in advancing the use of sentinel lymph node biopsy and lymph node dissection for melanoma staging and treatment.
