Katharine Phillips is a Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA. An internationally recognised expert on body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), her work spans neurobiology, clinical course, and treatment development, including cognitive behavioural therapy and pharmacotherapy. She has led landmark research that continues to guide global understanding and clinical management of BDD.
