In this post-ERS 2025 follow-up podcast, leading respiratory experts reflect on key data and discussions from the ERS 2025 Sustainability Symposium, ‘Caring for Patients and Our Planet: Advocating for a Sustainable Future in Respiratory Care’. The conversation explores how guideline-directed medical therapy can improve patient outcomes while reducing the environmental impact of healthcare delivery. The faculty also discuss examples of successful care transformation initiatives, and how the respiratory community can get involved in driving system-wide change to benefit both patients and the planet.
