Complex High-risk Interventional Patients and Procedures: Case-based review and patient management.

We are pleased to bring you a roundtable discussion webinar exploring complex high-risk interventional procedures, including comprehensive discussion on a patient case and effective patient management strategies. Discover essential peri-procedural patient management insights, including risk assessment and tailored protocols for hydration and contrast media volume limits for at-risk patients.

The global panel of experts also discussed other critical peri-procedural considerations, such as role of pre-planning and intraprocedural imaging, downstream monitoring to support lower rates of clinical adverse events and readmissions, and the factors influencing the decision to redirect patients to open surgery.

Speakers:

Francesco Moretti works as an Interventional Cardiologist at Azienda Sociosanitaria Territoriale (ASST) Papa Giovanni XXIII, Bergamo, Italy, where they also complete outpatient and clinical research activities. Recently, Moretti concluded their work experience at the ASST Bergamo Ovest, Italy, gaining experience as an interventional, outpatient, and intensivist cardiologist.

Megha Prasad is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Columbia University Irving Medical Centre, New York, USA, where they also hold the position of Director of Cardiorenal Medicine and Interventions. They are a member of the American College of Cardiology(ACC), American Heart Association (AHA), and Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI).

Jiang Jun is a Deputy Director of the Department of Cardiology, The Second Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, China. With vast experience in interventional diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease and arrhythmia, they also serve as a training instructor for the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China, Beijing, China.

Mann Chandavimol an internationally-trained Cardiac Surgeon with 26 years of experience, practices at Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital in Bangkok. They are renowned for performing heart transplants, open-heart surgeries, and a range of cardiac procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, ablation, pacemaker installations, and more. Chandavimol also excels in treating heart conditions like heart failure and hypertension. Their extensive expertise is complemented by a history of co-authoring research papers that explore the impact of heart surgery on other organs.
