Ledermann, BSc, MD, FRCP, from UCL Cancer Institute and UCL Hospitals, London UK, explains that oncologists and other clinical staff, who possess highly technical expertise in the management of cancer, can have an important role in providing genetic counselling for patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
