Journal Info

CARDIOVASCULAR magnetic resonance (CMR) has emerged as a promising technique for measuring coronary artery disease (CAD) and an alternative to traditional qualitative methods of assessing ischaemia. This review explored the methodology of CMR and explained its advantages over visual assessment alone. Opportunities to improve patient management and future directions in the field were provided, and attention was drawn to the challenges and current practices of using myocardial perfusion to assess CAD.
