Speaker Bio:

Salvatore Brugaletta is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona and Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Hospital Clinic Barcelona, Spain. An internationally recognised expert in coronary imaging, vascular healing, and device-based therapies, his research has advanced understanding of percutaneous coronary intervention, bioresorbable vascular scaffolds, and intracoronary imaging technologies. He has participated in numerous landmark clinical trials and contributed to guideline development through the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions and the European Society of Cardiology. His work focuses on translating technological innovation into improved outcomes for patients with coronary artery disease.
