The IMCAS World Congress stands as one of the key gatherings for dermatology professionals each year, uniting clinicians, researchers, and specialists from around the world. This upcoming congress offers a strong scientific program, with a wide range of sessions that encompass clinical dermatology, aesthetic innovation, and emerging therapeutic developments
In addition to presenting the latest advances in research and technology, IMCAS World provides a global platform for practitioners to discuss an often under-addressed yet critical aspect of dermatologic practice: complication management. Through the inclusion of a module dedicated to real case studies of complications, IMCAS Alert, participants learn from leading experts who provide insight into complications encountered in real clinical practice, offering guidance and solutions.
This year’s Alert sessions will focus on three main domains: Lasers and Energy-Based Devices (EBD), Clinical Dermatology, and Injectables. As a reminder, for the most up-to-date program, refer to the official IMCAS website:
- Lasers and EBDs: Cases highlighting infections post-ER: YAG fractional treatment as well as PIH following VBeam treatment in skin Type IV are planned for the Alert Lasers & EBD complication session.
- Clinical Dermatology: Cases highlighting alopecia (both diagnostic and scarring) and hair loss are planned for the Alert Clinical Dermatology complication session.
- Injectables and Threads: Cases highlighting filler and thread procedures, focusing on complications such as vascular compromise, delayed inflammation, post-procedural nodules, and challenging suborbital insufficiency, are planned for the Alert Injectables & Threads session.
In addition to the IMCAS Alert complication management module, IMCAS World 2026 will feature plenary lectures, industry symposia, and hands-on workshops that span a broad range of dermatologic science and aesthetics. With contributions from global leaders and innovators, the event offers valuable opportunities for professional growth and knowledge exchange.
Outside of IMCAS congresses, IMCAS Alert is a publicly available platform dedicated to the open discussion of real complication cases encountered in everyday practice. Moderated by topic specialists, IMCAS Alert provides secure forums where physicians can dissect complex scenarios, share management strategies, and present practical lessons for risk reduction.
By bringing together expertise, clinical experience, and research, IMCAS World Congress continues to support the advancement of dermatology by advancing standards, promoting safety, and fostering collaboration for the benefit of patients worldwide.
