Caring for someone with psoriasis involves holistic consideration of impacts beyond their skin. Not “just a skin disease,” psoriasis affects mood, mental health, and sexual and social functioning. EMJ conducted an interview with key opinion leaders to discuss the psychosocial management of patients with psoriasis. This supplement to Dermatology 8.1 includes the interview with Prof Diamant Thaçi from the University of Lübeck, Germany and Prof Stefano Piaserico from the University of Padova, Italy, providing guidance on global assessment of people with psoriasis.
